At approximately 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, our new Rescue Squad 12 was dispatched to assist Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services on the house fire on Kingston Court in West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department’s response area.

A crew of six comprised of Sykesville volunteers and Carroll County Department of Fire and EMS of Maryland career staff responded. Upon arrival, they reported to the staging area in front of the house, but were placed in service a short time later.

This was the third house fire call of the day for Station 12 crews.
