At approximately 7:45 p.m. on September 16, Station 12 was alerted for the house fire on Warren Drive in Gamber & Community Fire Company’s first due area.

Engine 124, Tower 12 and Chief 12-2 (Polikoff) responded with a total of nine volunteers.

Arriving Gamber crews stretched a hoseline and knocked down a fire in the kitchen.

Upon arrival, Chief 12-2 and Engine 124’s crew went to the second floor to perform a search and ventilation and check for extension.

The fire was declared under control and Sykesville’s crews were released shortly afterward.
