During the evening of Monday December 9th, volunteer and career members worked on training with the new equipment on the Rescue Squad 12.
The night's training focused on vehicle stabilization using our new strut system. These struts allow us to safely work on vehicles that are upside down or on their side. They can even be used to lift the vehicles if needed.
This training is paramount to make sure that all members are comfortable with the equipment before the squad goes in service, sometime in the next couple weeks.
Would you like to train with us? We are always seeking new volunteer members to join our team. No experience is necessary, and we provide the training free of charge.
